Meet the Senior Pastor
Jacqueline (Jakki) Gilchrist
Jacqueline (Jakki) Gilchrist, was born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her motto in life became “Get out the way, so that God can have His way,” as she accepted the call and was ordained as a Pastor under the leadership of Bishop David Gillard of Faith World Church in
Gallaway, Tennessee. She has served at St. John’s Pentecostal Holiness Church in Brooklyn for most of her life and is currently the Senior Pastor of New Kingdom Focused Global Ministries where the aim is to make disciples who are after the heart of God and to advance the kingdom of God by touching the lives of families, one at a time.
Pastor Gilchrist holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Fisk University and a master’s of Divinity with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Her qualifications include over 20 years’ experience in counseling, leadership management and client/membership development. She has extensive service with the underserved population.

Pastor Gilchrist is also the founder of JGilchrist Consulting LLC., which is a business that is the umbrella for providing mental health awareness and resources for churches and ministries. She seeks to help these organizations to understand the importance of developing mental health care ministries and programs to ensure positive and healthy emotional states for those within their congregation. She understands how this is a challenge within our community and knows that these mental health services are needed to have effective ministries, individuals, families and homes. Jacqueline says, “until you face your mental, emotional and spiritual struggles, you will remain stagnant and your purpose will be abandoned by YOU, so you must address the inner you today and the person GOD has called you to be.”
If you needed to describe Pastor Jakki, she is simply, “one who loves to love on God’s people.”
